A well-established law firm in Manhattan, New York is seeking an experienced Plaintiff's Personal Injury Attorney to manage personal injury case files from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping clients seek justice and compensation, along with a minimum of 3 years of personal injury litigation or trial experience. Location:

Duties:

  • Research case law, premises liability, and gather relevant evidence, such as insurance policies, medical records, and expenses.
  • Oversee the management and progression of personal injury case files from inception to resolution.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including motions, discovery responses, demand letters, pleadings, claims, subpoenas, and memorandums.
  • Record and update case status in the case management system.
  • Evaluate potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients.
  • Manage and delegate tasks to a team of paralegals, legal assistants, case managers, and other legal staff.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of personal injury litigation or trial experience, with a focus on medical malpractice, wrongful death, personal injury, or civil litigation.
  • Strong knowledge of personal injury law, tort law, medical malpractice, wrongful death, and civil litigation.
  • Excellent drafting, research, negotiation, and communication skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of New York.

Skills:
