Job Overview

A prestigious law firm in Boise, ID, is seeking a seasoned attorney specializing in bankruptcy and creditors’ rights to join their dynamic legal team. This role involves managing complex bankruptcy cases, receivership proceedings, foreclosures, and other creditors’ rights matters. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in these areas, a strong client base, and a proven track record of delivering excellent legal service.

Duties

  • Handle bankruptcy filings, including Chapter 7, 11, and 13 cases, representing creditors.
  • Manage receivership proceedings, foreclosure cases, and collection actions.
  • Assist clients in working out and restructuring scenarios.
  • Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other court documents.
  • Provide strategic advice to clients on creditors' rights and bankruptcy matters.
  • Collaborate with internal and external legal teams on complex cases.
  • Represent clients in court and negotiate settlements when applicable.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in bankruptcy and creditors' rights law.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of clients with demonstrated client development.
  • Must be a member of the Idaho State Bar Association or eligible for reciprocity.
  • Additional licensure with the California, Oregon, or Washington State Bar is a plus.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership in the Idaho State Bar Association (mandatory).
  • Additional State Bar certifications (California, Oregon, or Washington) are preferred.
