Commercial Real Estate Attorney

A law firm seeks an experienced Commercial Real Estate Attorney to join its Finance and Real Estate practice in New York City, NY. This role is ideal for an associate with extensive expertise in commercial real estate transactions and a commitment to providing exceptional client service.

Duties

• Handle complex and strategic aspects of multiple commercial real estate matters at various stages, from initiation to resolution.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents for real estate transactions.
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, ensuring clear and professional interactions.
• Manage and develop business opportunities, contributing to the growth of the practice group.
• Provide guidance, training, and supervision to junior attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
• Maintain compliance with the highest ethical standards of the legal profession.

Requirements

• Experience: 2 years practicing as a licensed attorney focusing on commercial real estate.
• Attributes: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Travel: Limited travel requirements, generally less than 10%.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active law license in NY and in good standing.
• Must comply with continuing legal education (CLE) and licensing renewal requirements.
