Duties

  • Conduct in-depth legal research and provide analysis to support litigation matters.
  • Draft various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs, ensuring precision and clarity.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
  • Manage and prioritize a broad and diverse caseload efficiently.
  • Collaborate closely with partners on sophisticated and complex litigation issues.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, opposing counsel, judges, and other parties involved in the litigation process.
  • Contribute to strategic discussions and case planning for ongoing matters.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school with strong academic performance.
  • Active bar admission in the state of Nebraska (or eligibility to obtain admission).
  • 5-7 years of substantive legal experience in employee benefits or related fields.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously while maintaining high productivity.

Education

  • Juris Doctorate from a reputable and accredited institution.
