Job Overview:

The Mid-Level Mergers And Acquisitions And Private Equity Associate Attorney will be crucial in advising clients on various transactional matters, including leveraged buyouts, sell-side transactions, growth equity, minority investments, and related strategic transactions.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel on mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions.
• Draft and negotiate acquisition/disposition agreements and related closing documents.
• Conducted due diligence and assisted with transactional closings.
• Collaborate with partners and clients to develop strategic solutions.

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactional experience.
• Prior involvement in representing financial sponsors and strategic buyers/sellers.
• Strong understanding of leveraged buyouts, sell-side transactions, and growth equity.
• Admitted to the Illinois Bar.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Illinois Bar.
