Trust and Estates Associate Attorney

A law firm in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Trust and Estates Associate Attorney with 5-15 years of experience. The ideal candidate must be admitted to the Florida Bar and have expertise in estate planning, probate, and estate and trust administration. A Tax LLM and experience with income tax issues are required.

Duties:

• Work with existing clients to provide legal guidance for estate planning, probate, and estate and trust administration.
• Assist clients with business formation, special needs planning, and related legal areas.
• Create legal documents such as trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and business formation documentation.
• Collaborate with clients to develop and execute plans that protect and preserve assets.
• Handle income tax issues and provide tax planning advice.

Requirements:

• 5-15 years of experience in trust and estate law.
• Admission to the Florida Bar.
• Expertise in estate planning, probate, and estate and trust administration.
• Tax LLM degree.
• Experience with income tax issues.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida Bar.
• Tax LLM degree.

Skills:

• Expertise in estate planning, probate, and estate and trust administration.
• Strong drafting skills for legal documents such as trusts, wills, and powers of attorney.
