Duties:

• Manage and litigate first-party property defense cases, handling complex files
• Collaborate closely with a supervising partner on case strategy and development
• Conduct thorough file reviews and legal research
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
• Participate in depositions, mediations, and court appearances
• Advise clients on coverage issues and handle pre-suit negotiations, when applicable
• Ensure compliance with legal standards and procedures

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience in first-party property defense litigation
• Attention to detail with the ability to handle complex case files
• Strong analytical and legal research skills
• Commitment to providing high-quality legal representation and client service
• Comfortable working under supervision and open to mentorship

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active member of the Florida Bar

Skills:

• Proficient in legal research, drafting, and case management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
• Experience with coverage issues and pre-suit negotiations is a plus
