Job Title: Residential Real Estate Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm located in Needham, MA, is currently seeking a skilled Residential Real Estate Associate Attorney with at least 3 years of experience to join their team. This is an exciting full-time opportunity for a motivated professional looking to contribute to a dynamic and growing practice. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in residential real estate law, with experience handling title reviews, contract revisions, and closing processes. Duties:

  • Conduct thorough title reviews, including title rundowns, recordings, and resolution of title issues
  • Review and revise real estate contracts for refinance and purchase transactions
  • Oversee and manage residential refinance and purchase closings
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with lenders, realtors, and clients
  • Utilize industry software and technology to support transactions and case management
  • Provide legal guidance and representation at closing events, which may include evening and weekend hours
  • Ensure compliance with all state-specific real estate laws and regulations
  • Travel to various closing locations across the state as required

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in residential real estate law
  • Licensed and in good standing with the Connecticut Bar
  • Current Connecticut Notary Public Commission
  • Ability to travel for client meetings and closings, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage relationships with clients, lenders, and realtors
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Connecticut Bar Admission (required)
  • Notary Public Commission in Connecticut (required)
  • Notary Public commission in neighboring states (preferred but not required)
