Job Overview:
A reputable law firm in King of Prussia, PA, is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Litigation Attorney with more than 10 years of experience. This full-time, hybrid position involves handling a wide range of commercial litigation matters, including shareholder and contract disputes, class actions, and business torts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in all phases of litigation, from motions practice and discovery to trials, arbitrations, and mediations.

Location:

  • King of Prussia, PA

Duties:

  • Manage a variety of complex commercial litigation matters, including shareholder disputes, contract disputes, class actions, and business torts
  • Handle all phases of litigation, including motions practice, discovery, and trial preparation
  • Participate in jury and non-jury trials, arbitrations, and mediations, either as lead counsel or second chair
  • Interface directly and effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel
  • Conduct legal research using Westlaw and draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, and other pleadings
  • Provide strategic guidance and counsel on legal matters to clients
  • Ensure cases are managed effectively and efficiently, meeting deadlines and client expectations

Requirements:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial litigation
  • Superior research and writing skills, with experience using Westlaw
  • Experience in motions practice, discovery, and trial preparation
  • Experience participating in jury and non-jury trials, arbitrations, and mediations
  • Appellate experience is a plus but not required
  • Ability to work independently and effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Teams, and Excel

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar

Skills:

  • Excellent legal research and writing abilities
