Associate Attorney needed for Purchase office

Duties:

• Manage a personal caseload with oversight from partners.
• Draft motions, pleadings, and discovery responses.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memorandums.
• Attend hearings, court conferences, and mediations.
• Conduct and defend depositions and attend inspections.
• Collaborate with expert witnesses as needed.
• Prepare for trials and participate in litigation proceedings.

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of litigation experience in areas such as bodily injury, premises liability, automobile liability, wrongful death, or product defect.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for effective case management.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active New York Bar License.
• Admission to the Connecticut Bar is a plus but not required.

Skills:
