Land Use/Real Estate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Saint Helena, CA, specializing in land use and real estate law within the wine industry seeks a skilled Land Use/Real Estate Attorney. Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in land use and commercial real estate transactions, primarily within the wine industry practice.
• Handle various aspects of winery and vineyard development, expansions, acquisitions, land use, title review, and financings.
• Conduct legal research, analyze findings, and provide insightful recommendations to clients.
• Draft and review legal documents, contracts, agreements, and other relevant materials.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediation, and other legal proceedings as necessary.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends impacting land use and real estate transactions in the wine industry.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
• 4-7 years of experience practicing law with a focus on land use and commercial real estate transactions.
• Experience specifically within the wine industry is highly desirable.
• Strong academic credentials with a proven track record of success.
