Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a motivated Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Workers' Compensation defense and a strong commitment to providing excellent legal services. Job Duties:

• Represent clients in Workers' Compensation proceedings, hearings, and trials.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Evaluate medical records and other evidence to develop case strategies.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
• Attend depositions, mediations, and negotiations on behalf of clients.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on Workers' Compensation matters.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida Bar and in good standing.
• Ideally, 1+ years of experience in Workers' Compensation defense.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
• Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Experience with virtual work environments preferred.
• Commitment to professionalism, ethics, and client service.
