Mid-level Litigation Attorney

Location:

• Irvine, CA

Duties:

• Manage all aspects of civil litigation, working directly under one or more partners.
• Prepare pleadings, discovery, and legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions.
• Appear at hearings, take and defend depositions, and support trials as a second or third chair.
• Supervise junior associates and serve as the primary contact point for opposing counsel and clients.
• Take ownership of assigned cases and work toward their resolution.
• Develop case strategies with guidance from partners.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in litigation.
• Strong case management skills and the ability to handle complex matters independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and improve writing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.

Education:

• Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in California.

Certifications:

• Valid California State Bar license.

Skills:

• Excellent legal research and writing skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage cases and collaborate with clients and colleagues.
• Experience with real property or insurance coverage law preferred.
