Duties:

  • Manage all stages of litigation, from case inception to trial.
  • Develop and implement case strategies, handle discovery, and negotiate settlements.
  • Provide legal counsel to clients, understanding their legal needs and developing effective strategies.
  • Represent clients in court, including hearings, trials, and arbitration.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support legal strategies.
  • Draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests, with clarity and precision.
  • Collaborate with support staff to prepare trial materials, including witness lists and exhibit binders.
  • Assess cases, provide recommendations, and ensure clients are kept informed about case progress.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in Texas.
  • Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, with a focus on personal injury or employment law.
  • Proven trial experience and a strong ability to advocate in high-stakes situations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, negotiation, and courtroom skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to manage multiple cases independently.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
