Civil Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A law firm based in North Dallas is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney with at least 3 years of experience in handling complex insurance disputes and litigation matters. The ideal candidate will be professional, organized, and highly motivated with experience in insurance defense or personal injury law. This position involves working on challenging cases, including assessing liability, conducting depositions, and managing case files for a broad range of clients. The candidate should be licensed to practice law in Texas and have a strong background in civil litigation.

Location:

Duties:

• Assess case liability, loss, and damages for various legal matters.
• Manage client reporting, billing, and budgeting for assigned cases.
• Draft and respond to discovery requests.
• Conduct depositions and manage client communications.
• Perform exceptional legal research and writing tasks, including preparing briefs.
• Stay updated on federal, state, and local rules and regulations.
• Handle occasional travel requirements for cases.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation.
• Experience in insurance defense and personal injury law is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong critical thinking, initiative, and adaptability.
• Exceptional organizational and detail-oriented skills.
• Self-motivated and efficient with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to effectively communicate and present complex legal matters.

Education:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
