Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee complex commercial litigation cases from inception to resolution.
  • Handle intellectual property litigation and labor & employment disputes as required.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and draft detailed legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Prepare for and participate in depositions and court appearances, potentially serving as first or second chair.
  • Develop and execute litigation strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and legal advice as necessary.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and execution.
  • Maintained detailed case files and managed deadlines to ensure timely progression of cases.
  • Take on additional responsibilities, including administrative tasks and case management.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California Bar.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in complex commercial litigation.
  • Experience in intellectual property litigation and labor & employment disputes is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience with depositions and court appearances (first or second chair) is a plus.
  • Previous judicial clerkship experience is a plus.
  • Strong research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
