Job Overview:

A prominent law firm in Denver, Colorado is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join its team. The role involves managing family law cases, including divorce and custody matters, while providing exceptional legal services to clients. The ideal candidate will have courtroom advocacy experience, be proficient in client relationship building, and possess strong case management skills. Location:

  • Denver, Colorado

Duties:

  • Communicate with clients within 24 business hours of contact.
  • Conduct consultations with potential clients when requested.
  • Convey the value of representation and the firm’s mission to clients.
  • Supervise and provide training to paralegals and support staff.
  • Participate in case meetings, global strategy meetings, and team-building activities.
  • Prepare and participate in hearings, mediations, and status conferences.
  • Draft and file superior legal work product with the court.
  • Build strong client relationships and provide high-quality legal services.
  • Perform additional tasks as requested by team members.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of family law experience.
  • Proficiency in courtroom advocacy and client relationship management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and supervise support staff.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Spanish language skills are a bonus but not required.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Colorado Bar License required.

Skills:

  • Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle complex family law cases with diligence and attention to detail.
