Intellectual Property Litigation Associate

Job Overview:
A reputable law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate with 2-4 years of intellectual property litigation experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in drafting claim construction briefs, invalidity and non-infringement contentions, taking and defending depositions, drafting dispositive and pretrial motions, and arguing motions in federal court. Experience in handling trademark, trade secret, and copyright cases is preferred. The Associate will be involved in all aspects of intellectual property litigation, supporting senior attorneys and participating in depositions, hearings, trials, and legal research.

Location:

Duties:

• Draft claim construction briefs and invalidity/non-infringement contentions
• Take and defend depositions
• Draft dispositive and pretrial motions
• Argue motions in federal court
• Assist with all aspects of intellectual property litigation
• Participate in depositions, hearings, and trials
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents
• Provide support to senior attorneys

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of intellectual property litigation experience
• Experience with trademark, trade secret, and copyright cases preferred
• Admission to the bar in relevant jurisdiction(s)
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction(s)
