A law firm based in Washington, DC is currently seeking a skilled Mid-Level/Senior Antitrust Litigation Associate Attorney with 4-7 years of experience. The successful candidate will have a strong background in complex commercial litigation, including expertise in antitrust litigation and/or large MDL civil litigation. Exceptional academic qualifications, equivalent law firm experience, and superior written and verbal communication skills are essential for this position.

 

Duties:

  • Manage all aspects of complex commercial litigation cases, with a focus on antitrust litigation and/or large MDL civil litigation matters.
  • Conduct and oversee discovery processes, including document production, review, and management.
  • Take and defend depositions, as well as draft pleadings and other legal documents.
  • Participate actively in courtroom proceedings, including hearings and trials, as necessary.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategy and decision-making.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the District of Columbia Bar and in good standing.
  • 4-7 years of relevant experience in complex commercial litigation.
  • Proven expertise in antitrust litigation and/or large MDL civil litigation.
  • Preferably, demonstrated experience in courtroom proceedings.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the District of Columbia Bar and in good standing.

 

Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software platforms.
