Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Corporate Associate Attorney to join their team in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), with a proven track record of leading and managing complex transactions. This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, maturity, and business acumen to effectively manage client relationships and supervise junior associates.

Key Duties:

  • Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of definitive and ancillary M&A documents.
  • Manage the entire M&A deal process from inception to closing.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact.
  • Supervise and mentor junior associates, providing guidance and feedback on their work.
  • Handle the day-to-day demands of various M&A-related matters.
  • Collaborate with other practice groups within the firm to ensure comprehensive client service.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence and risk assessments for M&A transactions.
  • Stay current with relevant legal and business developments in the M&A sector.

Requirements:

  • 6-8 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, preferably within a large regional, national, or international law firm.
  • Demonstrated expertise in drafting and negotiating complex M&A documents.
  • Proven ability to manage M&A deal processes and client relationships effectively.
  • Strong supervisory skills, with experience mentoring junior associates.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High degree of maturity and business sense.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with the Pennsylvania State Bar.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Pennsylvania State Bar is required.
