A law firm in San Diego, CA is seeking an experienced Employment and Labor Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in advising clients on employment policies, statutory compliance, and handling employment litigation and transactions. This role requires exceptional communication skills, a proactive approach to legal challenges, and a commitment to mentoring junior associates.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on employment law matters including policies, practices, compliance, and risk management.
  • Draft and review employment agreements, separation agreements, and other employment-related documents.
  • Represent clients in employment litigation matters, including discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination cases.
  • Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice on labor and employment issues.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop proactive employment strategies and training programs.

 

Requirements:

  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California Bar in good standing.
  • 4+ years of experience practicing employment law, with a focus on counseling, litigation, and transactional work.
  • Strong academic credentials and a demonstrated understanding of employment law principles.
