The firm specializes in various legal fields, including Government Representation, Business Representation, and Litigation Defense. Duties:

  • Manage a portable book of business or demonstrate a track record of originating business of $200,000 annually or more.
  • Provide legal counsel in various practice areas, including Local Government Law, Public Finance, Economic Development, Commercial Real Estate, Trusts & Estates, Corporate Law, Mergers & Acquisitions, Labor & Employment Counseling, Tax, Cybersecurity & Data Privacy, Business Litigation, Complex Litigation Defense, White Collar Criminal Defense, and Construction Litigation.
  • Foster client relationships and actively pursue business development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in a team-oriented environment to drive firm success.
  • Contribute to legal research, case preparation, and strategy development.
  • Maintain professional development through continuing legal education and participation in industry events.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Virginia and/or North Carolina.
  • A portable client base or demonstrated success in originating business of at least $200,000 annually.
  • Strong entrepreneurial drive with a focus on business development.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and legal research skills.

Education:

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active law license in Virginia and/or North Carolina.

Skills:

  • Proven experience in litigation and transactional matters.
