Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Tempe, AZ, is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team. The firm specializes in civil litigation, and the position offers the opportunity to handle motions, discovery disputes, depositions, and court appearances.

Job Duties:

• Handle all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses.
• Conduct legal research and provide analysis on legal issues.
• Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
• Manage case files and ensure deadlines are met.
• Assist in trial preparation and strategy.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the Arizona State Bar.
• 2-3 years of experience in civil litigation.
• Preferably have experience in Probate/Estate/Trust law.
• Strong experience with motions, discovery disputes, depositions, and court appearances.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Arizona State Bar.
