A law firm in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a proficient Transactional Attorney fluent in Spanish to handle cross-border business transactions between the United States and Mexico. The role requires a dedicated professional committed to delivering excellent legal services and contributing to the growth of a well-established practice.

 

Duties:

  • Manage and oversee complex business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate formations.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents, contracts, and agreements in both English and Spanish.
  • Provide strategic legal advice and counsel on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters pertaining to international business operations.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence reviews and risk assessments for clients engaged in cross-border transactions.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients, colleagues, and external parties to achieve favorable outcomes.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active State Bar membership in Arizona, or eligibility to obtain admission within one year of hire.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience practicing law with a focus on business transactions, ideally including cross-border work.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with strong communication skills (both written and verbal) in both languages.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities and proficiency in negotiating and drafting legal documents.
  • Demonstrated commitment to client service excellence and maintaining high professional standards.
