A prominent law firm in Las Vegas is seeking a motivated and driven Entry-Level Immigration Attorney to join their immigration team. The role involves managing a variety of immigration cases, providing legal counsel to clients, and ensuring that all legal requirements are met for immigration proceedings. Duties:

• Advise clients on immigration matters, explaining legal concepts and presenting strategic solutions.
• Represent both detained and non-detained individuals in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals.
• Manage a caseload of immigration cases, ensuring deadlines are met and tasks are completed efficiently.
• Conduct intake interviews with detained individuals at detention centers.
• Prepare and submit immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based petitions.
• Review and revise immigration application packets to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community organizations on immigration law changes and case developments.
• Provide legal consultations to potential clients, formulating appropriate strategies for their immigration needs.
• Develop case strategies, preparing clients and witnesses for USCIS interviews and court appearances.
• Draft and submit legal briefs for various immigration-related cases.

Requirements:

• 0-3 years of experience in Immigration Law.
• Strong team player with a collaborative attitude.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
• Proven ability to manage a caseload and advance legal cases.
• Familiarity with family-based petitions, humanitarian law, EOIR, detained cases, citizenship applications, and other USCIS processes.
• Experience with case management software is a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in the state of Nevada.
