Workers Compensation Attorney

A law firm in Columbia, SC, is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Attorney with 3-5 years of experience in Workers’ Compensation law. The ideal candidate should be a South Carolina licensed attorney with appropriate certifications and extensive legal knowledge.

Duties:

• Conduct extensive case-related research into relevant laws and regulations.
• Negotiate on behalf of clients.
• Draft and interpret contracts and legal documents.
• Oversee compliance with contracts and legal documents.
• Create and maintain good rapport with clients.
• Communicate often and explain complex legal proceedings and concepts clearly to clients.
• Manage several projects simultaneously.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information.
• Work independently and collaboratively with team members.

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in South Carolina.
• Appropriate certifications.
• Extensive legal knowledge and expertise in Workers’ Compensation law.
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously.

Education:

Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Licensed to practice law in South Carolina.
