Business Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks a business litigation associate attorney to join its dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will bring two to three years of litigation experience and the ability to work on high-exposure trial matters. The role requires an individual who can thrive both in collaborative team settings and independently, focusing on delivering top-tier legal services to clients in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

• Represent clients in business litigation matters, including breach of contract, commercial disputes, and other civil litigation cases.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda for submission to courts.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies and provide counsel to clients.
• Assist in the preparation for trial, including gathering evidence, conducting depositions, and developing witness testimony.
• Participate in court proceedings, hearings, and settlement negotiations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys, clients, and expert witnesses to develop comprehensive litigation strategies.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients throughout the litigation process.

Requirements:

• Two to three years of litigation experience, focusing on business and commercial disputes.
• Strong legal writing and research skills.
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex litigation and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Licensed to practice law in Georgia, in good standing.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in high-stakes legal environments.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership with the Georgia Bar.
