Job Overview:
A prestigious AmLaw100 firm is seeking a skilled Corporate Associate to join its Real Estate group in the Atlanta office. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with 3 to 5 years of experience in negotiating and closing purchase and sale agreements, loan agreements, and other real estate-related transactions. The ideal candidate will possess strong academic credentials, excellent writing and communication skills, and a desire to grow their practice in commercial finance and real estate law.

Location:

  • Atlanta, GA

Duties:

  • Negotiate purchase and sale agreements, closing documents, loan agreements, and ancillary loan documents.
  • Close loans, acquisitions, and dispositions related to real estate transactions.
  • Work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth transaction processes.
  • Provide legal advice related to commercial finance and real estate matters.
  • Assist in the drafting and review of key transaction documents.
  • Collaborate with team members to support clients through all stages of real estate and corporate transactions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in commercial finance and real estate, including negotiating and closing deals.
  • Strong academic background with a proven work ethic and a positive attitude.
  • Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong interest in growing a practice in commercial finance and real estate.
  • Admitted and in good standing with the Georgia Bar.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Strong academic credentials.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Georgia Bar (in good standing).

Skills:

  • Expertise in negotiating and closing real estate transactions, including purchase and sale agreements, loan agreements, and closing documents.
  • Strong analytical and drafting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of commercial finance and real estate law.
