Job Overview:

A growing South Bay law firm is seeking a full-time attorney to join its team. The firm specializes in business, real estate, and estate planning law and is looking for a hard-working, client-focused individual with integrity to support managing partners. The ideal candidate will be an experienced attorney with a strong background in transactional and litigation law, comfortable working in a collaborative environment, and eager to contribute to the firm’s growth.

Location:

Duties:

  • Prepare and draft legal documents and pleadings.
  • Work on discovery processes for cases.
  • Conduct legal research.
  • Attend and conduct depositions, mediations, and trial preparations.
  • Negotiate settlements for legal disputes.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings.
  • Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.

Requirements:

  • Member of the California Bar and in good standing.
  • 5+ years of experience in transactional and litigation law, handling both plaintiff and defendant work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently, maintaining a professional demeanor in all situations.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Member of the California State Bar (required).
