Personal Injury Attorney

A law firm is seeking a Personal Injury Attorney for their Knoxville, TN, office.

Job Overview:

• Represent clients in personal injury cases, providing legal advice and guidance.
• Responsible for all aspects of case management, from initial client consultation to case resolution.

Duties:

• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other case parties.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Lead mediations and negotiate settlements.
• Develop case strategies and prepare cases for trial.
• Advocate for clients in court proceedings.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience practicing personal injury or civil litigation.
• Licensed and in good standing with the Tennessee State Bar.
• Proficiency in drafting and responding to motions.
• Substantial knowledge of Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Tennessee State Bar.
