Real Estate Counsel

A law firm seeks a Real Estate Counsel to join its dynamic team in Chicago, IL, with a focus on real property development for renewable energy clients. This non-partnership track role involves working closely with industry-leading clients in a range of real estate development and transactional matters. Duties

• Represent renewable energy clients in complex real property transactions.
• Conduct legal research and draft, review, and negotiate real estate documents.
• Advise clients on title matters, zoning, land use, and other real estate-related legal issues.

• Stay informed on real estate legislation and industry trends impacting clients.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience in real estate law.
• Proficiency in title matters; experience with renewable energy development is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality client service.
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications
