Corporate Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join its Corporate practice group. Location:

• Jacksonville, FL

Duties:

• Handle corporate legal matters including mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiations, and compliance issues

• Provide legal guidance to businesses on a range of corporate and transactional matters

• Manage client relationships and offer strategic legal solutions tailored to client needs

• Draft, review, and negotiate corporate documents and agreements

• Collaborate with colleagues across practice groups on multidisciplinary projects

• Ensure that clients meet legal and regulatory requirements

• Perform legal research and stay up-to-date with changes in corporate law

Requirements:

• 3-8 years of experience in corporate law, particularly in mergers and acquisitions, contracts, and business law

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Strong academic record

• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

• Ability to build and maintain client relationships

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Florida Bar (or eligibility to obtain membership)

Skills:

• Strong project management skills

• Ability to handle complex corporate transactions

• Strong research and legal writing skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Experience with legal software and document management systems
