Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct due diligence and legal research to support real estate transactions and resolve issues.

  • Provide strategic counsel on leverage transactions, preferred equity, and joint ventures.
  • Stay current with legal trends, industry practices, and real estate finance regulatory changes.
  • Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and legal staff as needed.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to the Florida Bar (FL Bar admission is required).
  • Experience in commercial real estate finance law.
  • Proven track record of handling complex real estate transactions and negotiations.
  • Strong academic credentials and a demonstrated ability to handle high-stakes legal matters.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with leverage transactions, preferred equity, and joint ventures.
  • Prior experience working in a law firm focusing on real estate finance.
