Duties

• Provide legal representation and counsel in family law matters, with a focus on divorce cases.
• Prepare legal documents, including petitions, motions, and agreements.
• Advise clients on legal rights, obligations, and strategies in family law cases.
• Handle case management, including meeting deadlines, coordinating with clients, and managing documentation.
• Participate in settlement negotiations and court appearances as needed.
• Maintain communication with clients, providing updates and addressing concerns.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience practicing family law, with a focus on divorce cases.
• Strong understanding of family law statutes, regulations, and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
• Demonstrated commitment to client advocacy and achieving favorable outcomes.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active state Bar admission (Connecticut preferred).

Skills

• Expertise in family law, particularly divorce cases.
