A law firm seeks a dedicated Associate Attorney to join their team and provide legal support across a range of immigration and civil cases. Duties

  • Maintain organized client files to ensure ease of access for all team members.
  • Participate in hearings and other legal proceedings under the guidance of senior attorneys.
  • Negotiate on behalf of clients, working toward resolutions that meet client needs.
  • Collaborate with senior associates, clients, and other team members to ensure case progression.

Requirements

  • Admission to the state bar and active membership with the American Bar Association (ABA).
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with senior attorneys and other staff to serve client needs.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Must have passed the state bar exam.
  • Active membership in the American Bar Association (ABA).

Skills

  • Excellent legal research and document drafting skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities to manage case files and documentation.
