Associate Attorney needed for Yorba Linda office

Job Overview:

Location:

Duties:

• Handle all aspects of defense-oriented personal injury claims, including pleadings, discovery, and depositions
• Conduct case evaluations and provide clients with expert legal advice
• Draft legal documents, including motions and responses
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders
• Represent clients in mediations and assist in settlement negotiations
• Manage a caseload and maintain organization throughout the litigation process
• Perform legal research and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of defense-oriented litigation experience
• Experience handling personal injury claims, including discovery, pleadings, and depositions
• Strong legal research skills and experience drafting legal documents
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases effectively and meet deadlines
• Experience working with public entities (preferred, but not required)

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
