A law firm is seeking a Non-Profit Entity Attorney for their Cleveland, OH location:

Job Overview:

The Non-Profit Entity Attorney will provide legal counsel to tax-exempt, charitable organizations, advising on tax and governance matters essential to their operations.

Duties:

• Provide comprehensive legal guidance to non-profit entities on tax-related issues and governance matters.
• Assist clients in navigating regulatory compliance requirements relevant to tax-exempt status.
• Draft and review contracts, bylaws, and other legal documents pertinent to non-profit organizations.
• Represent clients in negotiations, disputes, and legal proceedings as necessary.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting non-profit entities.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Ohio State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
• Proven experience practicing law with a focus on non-profit organizations.
• Strong understanding of tax law, particularly as it pertains to tax-exempt entities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Ohio State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.

Skills:
