The Associate Attorney will collaborate with the managing partner on intricate cases and must exhibit strong research, writing, and communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in complex felony and misdemeanor cases.
  • Appear in court for various conferences, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and draft motions, briefs, and various legal documents.
  • Negotiate plea agreements and settlements on behalf of clients.
  • Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients throughout their cases.
  • Collaborate with the managing partner on complex and high-stakes cases.
  • Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date case files and records.
  • Prepare and review legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.
  • Stay informed about changes in relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar association.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant criminal laws, regulations, and legal procedures.
  • Prior experience in litigation and negotiation is preferred.
  • Proven ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
