  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members to develop defense strategies.

Requirements:

  • 0-3 years of experience in workers' compensation litigation or a background in medical-related legal matters.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Courtroom experience, including participation in mock trials, moot court, or actual administrative proceedings, mediations, or negotiations.
  • Familiarity with analyzing medical records and summarizing complex information.
  • Knowledge of administrative law, Illinois state law, and legal procedures.

Education:

  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Illinois (active and in good standing).

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research platforms such as Lexis Advance.
  • Familiarity with billing processes and legal case management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction.
