A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to support its Atlanta office remotely from Columbus, Georgia. Duties:

• Represent clients in various civil litigation matters, including pre-litigation, trial preparation, and post-trial activities.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Manage case files and communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and participate in strategic planning for cases.
• Handle discovery, including document review and production.
• Maintain accurate and organized records related to cases and client interactions.
• Advise clients on legal risks, case strategy, and settlement options.
• Stay updated on relevant case law, statutes, and legal trends.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience.
• Valid Georgia Bar license.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with legal technology and case management software is a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Georgia State Bar.
