Location:

Duties:

  • Provide support in litigation matters involving intellectual property, focusing on patent law.
  • Assist in preparing and filing legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Draft and review legal arguments for intellectual property cases.
  • Manage case files and work with senior attorneys to develop litigation strategies.
  • Represent clients in depositions, hearings, and other court proceedings related to IP cases.
  • Perform legal research and analysis on IP-related matters.
  • Collaborate with clients, experts, and legal teams to resolve complex IP disputes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • 2 to 6 years of litigation experience, with a focus on intellectual property law.
  • Registration with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, chemical, or computer engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field (preferred).

Certifications:

  • Registration with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of intellectual property law, especially in patent litigation.
  • Excellent research and writing skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail.
