Associate Attorney needed for Fort Lauderdale office

Job Overview: A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of Florida state and federal civil litigation experience. The role requires strong time management skills and flexibility in handling various litigation tasks from start to finish. The attorney will be expected to manage a caseload independently while collaborating with other legal professionals to ensure successful case resolution.

Location:

• Fort Lauderdale, FL

Duties:

• Draft and file pleadings and motions
• Review and draft discovery documents
• Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals on legal strategy
• Attend hearings and depositions
• Independently manage a caseload, handling litigation matters from inception to conclusion

Requirements:

• 2+ years of Florida civil litigation experience
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritize workload
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• High level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Florida
