Duties:

  • Defend and litigate lawsuits involving various employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination.
  • Advise, counsel, and train employers on employment and labor law issues.
  • Represent employers in court, administrative agencies, mediations, and arbitrations in employment disputes, including class/collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contract disputes, employment torts, and non-compete cases.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience with a strong background in employment law preferred.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar or ability to obtain admission promptly.
  • In-depth understanding of current state and federal agency procedures related to employment law.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and dedication to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and project management abilities.
  • Commitment to professionalism, collegiality, and working effectively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Litigation skills, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.
