Duties

• Advise life sciences and healthcare clients on coverage, coding, and reimbursement issues

• Support market access strategy through legal and regulatory analysis

• Interpret and analyze federal healthcare statutes and regulations, including Medicare, Medicaid, 340B, the Affordable Care Act, and the Inflation Reduction Act

• Assist with compliance and advisory matters related to pricing programs and public healthcare systems

• Contribute to strategic evaluations for healthcare business models and regulatory risks

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on legal matters and client engagements

• Support transactional and litigation teams with regulatory insight and expertise

• Monitor and analyze developments in healthcare policy and legislation affecting the life sciences sector

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in health law, regulatory compliance, or market access within the life sciences space

• In-depth knowledge of federal healthcare programs and their impact on drug and device manufacturers

• Familiarity with legal frameworks surrounding Medicare, Medicaid, ACA, and pricing programs (340B, Inflation Reduction Act)

• Exposure to or interest in related topics such as healthcare fraud and abuse, government pricing, and coding

• Government, in-house, or law firm experience preferred

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active New York Bar membership in good standing.
