Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation in environmental law matters, including regulatory compliance, litigation, and transactional work.
  • Handle cases related to redevelopment, real estate, land use, and municipal law.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support client cases and provide informed legal advice.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, negotiations, and other legal proceedings.
  • Manage and track multiple client cases and projects, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and regulatory agencies.
  • Stay current with developments in environmental law and related areas.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New Jersey Bar.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental law, redevelopment, real estate and land use, and/or municipal law.
  • Superior writing and oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and a robust academic record.
