Duties

• Handle all aspects of patent litigation, including:

  • Drafting pleadings

  • Managing written discovery

  • Writing legal briefs

  • Conducting depositions

  • Representing clients in court proceedings

• Collaborate with clients from various industries to develop litigation strategies

• Analyze technical materials, including source code, to support patent-related cases

• Work closely with senior attorneys and legal teams on case management and trial preparation

Requirements

• 5-7 years of patent litigation experience

• Strong understanding of all phases of patent litigation, from filing to trial

• Background in computer science or electrical engineering preferred

• Ability to read and analyze source code

• Prior experience at a regional or national law firm preferred

• Must be admitted to practice law in New York

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Strong academic credentials required

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar
