A well-established multi-state law firm is seeking a qualified associate attorney to support its Illinois-based practice, specializing in creditors' rights and real estate law. Location:

  • Las Vegas, NV 

Duties:

  • Manage a significant caseload related to creditors' rights and real estate law.
  • Resolve issues in discovery practice, depositions, and conflict resolution.
  • Represent clients in court appearances and manage legal proceedings.
  • Provide support for appellate matters.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues to drive firm growth.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality legal representation and client service.

Requirements:

  • Active membership in good standing with the Illinois Bar.
  • Newly licensed attorneys are welcome to apply; 5+ years of litigation experience preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to handle a high volume of creditor’s rights cases.
  • Familiarity with discovery practice, depositions, and conflict resolution.
  • Appellate experience and knowledge of TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and the Bankruptcy Code are a plus.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships within the industry.
  • Familiarity with the Illinois legal system and commitment to superior client support.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Illinois State Bar is required.
  • Additional Bar licenses are a plus.
