Duties:

• Manage a diverse caseload of personal injury defense matters in federal court, focusing on cases within the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

• Develop and implement effective litigation strategies, overseeing case analysis, motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation.

• Conduct detailed legal research on federal laws, regulations, and precedents to support case strategies and arguments.

• Analyze statutes, rulings, and legal opinions to provide clients with accurate and timely legal advice.

• Maintain regular communication with clients to keep them informed on case developments, strategies, and potential outcomes.

• Represent clients in federal court proceedings, including hearings and trials in the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

• Prepare and file legal documents, pleadings, and motions required for court proceedings.

• Engage in settlement negotiations when appropriate, striving for favorable outcomes while maintaining the highest ethical standards.

• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and other legal staff to execute legal strategies and provide comprehensive client service.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Active membership in the Florida State Bar.

• Admission to practice in the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

• Minimum of 2-5 years of legal experience, with a strong emphasis on litigation.

• 1-2 years of federal court experience, particularly in personal injury defense.

• Proven success in managing and litigating federal cases, including trials and hearings.

• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Florida State Bar membership.

• Admission to practice in the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
