Commercial Finance Associate Attorney

Job Overview:

A law firm in Boston, MA, is seeking a Commercial Finance Associate Attorney with a robust background in commercial finance to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in representing lenders and borrowers across various financing transactions.

Duties:

• Represent bank and non-bank lenders and/or borrowers in acquisition financing, working capital facilities, asset-based lending, and other financing types.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial finance documents and agreements.
• Conduct detailed legal research and analysis on complex commercial finance matters.
• Advise clients on legal risks and transaction structuring.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop and execute legal strategies.
• Stay updated with current developments in commercial finance law.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of meaningful commercial finance experience.
• Proven experience in representing clients in various financing transactions.
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Admission to and in good standing with or willingness to be admitted to the Massachusetts Bar.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Massachusetts Bar (or willingness to obtain).
