The position requires a mix of remote work with occasional onsite court appearances and depositions in the Los Angeles area.

Duties:

• Manage and review new client files and provide insightful case analysis.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, providing status updates and advice.
• Draft various legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Conduct in-depth legal research to support case development.
• Lead and prepare depositions, providing strategic guidance.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and trials across the Los Angeles area.

Requirements:

• Must possess an active California Bar license.
• Proven experience in litigation, particularly within insurance defense.
• A background in medical malpractice defense is advantageous.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the California State Bar Association.
